Description
1959 Gibson ES-175D - Sunburst - OHSC1959 Gibson ES 175 in original sunburst finish. Its getting really hard to find humbucker 175's that haven't been pilfered for parts. This one has had some of that before my ownership. The neck pickup is some kind of repro PAF, it might be a 90's classic 57, but its hard to say 100%. The bridge pickup is the original PAF (cover has been off back on, but it doesn't appear to be rewound). The tuners are also repro and it previously had schallers. Added
This one sounds fabulous and is in very good condition

its playing great
8 lbs 15 ounces (exactly what a les paul standard should weigh)
Everything else is original
This has a solid spruce top
which is very common on early Jrs
Comes with the original chipboard case that is in OK shape and will be padded well for shipping
This is an early '70 with the center back panel being Brazilian Rosewood
This is sort of a carved version of a 339
it is exactly period correct
