1961 Epiphone Coronet - Cherry1961 Epiphone Coronet. This guitar is an absolute monster. One of my favorite Junior type guitars I have ever had. It is all original except for the drop in tuners (the originals are included). A few of the solder joints were touched up (the previous owner said it developed a grounding issue), but all components remain original (pots date to '61). It has a slimmer fast neck and is incredibly lightweight. Just pro setup, it plays great. I have the

It doesn't seem to change the tone much
Everything else original including the finish with no touchups or overspray
Speaker dates to '62 and transformers are of course original
i would probably put the bridge PAF in the neck and go to town
It is all original and plays and sounds great after its recent pro setup
