“Billy Button Field” incorporates the natural grain of the wood panel as part of the meandering road through the countryside

“Country Escape” tries to capture the utter peace and stillness experienced when spending time in the country-side – sitting in the middle of nature

Then I paint the dominant part of what I see in clear gloss varnish – in this case it is the  path meandering through the landscape

I am always fascinated by the beauty of trees and for some reason I am particularly drawn to dead trees

squealing and splashing in the river

Sometimes that’s all you need – just to know that there is someone there for you – to listen to you
