The RV Buddy Plus AUTO is a fully automatic 2 way switcher based on the original RV Buddy Plus. It allows you to share your RV outlet with your EVSE without having to flip any switches. Basic operation is simple, the RV outlet is always live and the EVSE outlet is only live when there is enough amperage available to charge your EV. When the RV is off it is drawing little to no amps so the EVSE outlet is switched

Requires purchase of a Dryer Buddy

The original DryerBuddy model is a splitter (both outlets always live)

voltage and amperage flowing through to your EVSE (Electric Vehicle Charging Station)

the meter reads the 240volt circuit by monitoring current on Phase 1 only (black wire) which is all that is needed in a 240volt circuit

Input power cable is a NEMA 14-30

an Upgrade Pak essentially allows you to pay the difference in cost between the original Dryer Buddy and the Dryer Buddy Plus AUTO or Dryer Buddy PLUS AUTO

Housed in a high strength Polycarbonate enclosure

With this adapter you can connect a 240v compatible device that's equipped with a 120v 5-15 or 5-20 plug to a any of three outlets

This is what allows Adapter #57 to fit into two different sockets as well as accept two different plugs
