It is made from solid chestnut and walnut veneers finished to a warm dark color. It has carved elements and the legs are a very unusual "X" style. This desk is in very good antique condition with minor nicks, discolorations and scratches. Note the top of the desk has a large gap in the veneer that has been filled and some stains (see photos). The carvings are intricate and very well done

The seat height is 19" tall

The leading is solid and strong and has two loops for easy hanging
