Anthropomorphic swords such as this have been excavated in France, Switzerland and on the Balkans, and were employed throughout the European continent. The sword is constructed from a steel blade with a brass grip. Its length is 96 cm, with a blade of 79 cm, and it weighs approx. 1. 5 kg. The sword is dispatched including a leather scabbard.
