1980's Yamaha Japan SB500S Super Bass (Brown Sunburst)Japanese made in the early 1980's as part of Yamaha's "Super Bass" series, the SB 500S was a mid range model aimed at competing with Fender's Jazz Bass. Solid Nato body with a brown sunburst finish, maple neck with a walnut skunk stripe (34" scale, 44mm nut width, 21 frets), it weighs a beefy 4. 7kg's. This one appears to be all original and in great condition for it's age. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should, the frets have plenty
