岩井俊雄　　一九六二年出生，多媒體藝術家。一九八五年就讀筑波大學藝術專門學校時，獲得第十七屆現代日本美術展大獎，成為日本最年輕的得獎人。此後，參加許多國內外的美術展，發表能和觀眾互動的各種作品，引人注目。他曾經參與製作宮崎駿三鷹之森吉卜力美術館的「龍貓蹦蹦跳」、「上升海流」的影像展等。　　岩井俊雄回憶：小時候，某天母親對他說：「以後不買玩具了。」從此之後給他各種工作的工具代替玩具。從那時起，開啟了他製作各種東西的興趣。現在岩井俊雄是兩個女兒的爸爸，希望能利用繪本創作與部落格，尋找更多親子之間相處的樂趣，並且和更多人分享。　　繪本作品有《天空100層樓的家》、《地下100層樓的家》、《海底100層樓的家》、《笨雄，加油！》、《奇奇怪怪真奇怪》、《跟著小指尖去遊歷》（以上皆為小魯文化出版）。
