Huge flower heads are a full 2 wider than existing varieties, producing foot wide pompoms of blooms in June. The fruit ripens in late summer (about 2 weeks later than other elderberry varieties) Wyldewood elderberry is a very hearty plant and grows best in zones 4 9. **These plants do need another elderberry variety planted near by for pollination. (Bob Gordon or Ranch is recommended)
