Although I tended to paint outside en plein air during my artist residency, I thought the interior of the manor house was just as fascinating as the exterior and grounds. On one winter's day, I was interested in capturing this view of a room on the first floor, as the large mirror reflected a nuanced palette of green tones ranging from teal blue to yellow.
