NZ Army MCU Field Trousers - Grade 2In 2013 the NZDF (New Zealand Defence Force) officially changed from its own native DPM camo to the new 'MCU' (Multi terrain Camouflage Uniform). An interesting choice that was a variant from the Canadian company Hyperstealth. The cut was entirely modernized compared to the former DPM copying much of the American ACU build. This uniform has since been retired and replaced with NZMTP in 2019. These trousers come in 2 main flavours Gen II & Gen III.
