Shaped Silver Vesta With Shield Shaped Cartouche Deakin & Francis Birmingham 1895A shaped silver vesta with shield shaped cartouche, profusely decorated with a foliate pattern to the front and back with plain sides. This vesta has a double concave shape to the front and back so is raised in the middle from top to bottom. The cartouche is engraved with a period monogram. The decoration is repeated front and back so both sides have a blank unengraved cartouche to the centre of the decoration

Fully hallmarked silver stopper with good quality cork and with the addition of a cast silver Pheasant on the top

There are some light tarnishing marks due to age and use
