This is an agate egg mounted by a silver screw top and thread

It is a great shape and size

This is a great photograph frame as it is Oval in shape which is unusual to find

The hallmarks inside the lid and base are legible despite being rubbed

The hinges are all good and in working order and the box itself fits snugly and opens and closes well

The lid can be reversed and inserted back into the case for use

There are very minor marks due to age and use but these are commensurate with age and light use
