Hunters Noble Late Harvest Chardonnay Vintage 1987A Botrytis, noble rot, wine. This happens very sparodicaly in New Zealand and is very unusual on Chardonnay grapes. 1987 was one of those years. Warm and humid weather, followed by dry conditions allowing the botrytis to spread across the grapes. Typical blend, Chardonnay. 375ml half bottle. Abv 9. 5% Bottle condition, Capsule good, label good, wine level very top shoulder. in original box.
