Natural Hi-Grade Moon River OvalThis material comes from the mine in the Hubei Province of China. Currently this is one of the most active Turquoise producing areas globally. From light greens to blues, this mine Rivals Cloud Mountain in terms of color and grade!

Unlike the vibrant greens of classic American variscite (such as Utah or Nevada varieties)

a rare and finely grained 'Fei Cui' jade that rivals Burmese jade in color and translucency

Fun fact: I thought this material reminded me of springtime in AZ and suggested the name to the miner who loved it

unless he can get a special bond approval from the BLM they have dug as far as possible under their current permit

This rare material can only be obtained through old collections

Found in Yellowstone River's gravel

Not much is known about who discovered this teal gem and named it

and less than that of the very highest grade

Common opal doesn't have the fire

or as a collector's specimen
