French 19th century ciborium in gilt silver and gilt metal with original leather storage boxThis sterling silver gilt (vermeil) ciborium is beautifully crafted with a refined pattern of foliage and leaves. The receptacle is sterling silver gilt and bears the 19th century French silver hallmark of Minerva. The stem and base are of metal gilt. It comes with its original leather storage box, restored and in good condition. Height 12in (30. 5cm), width of base 5. 5 in (14cm), receptacle diameter (4in) 10cm. This item has been sold.
