Small Silver Vinaigrette Frederick Marson Birmingham 1857This is a small size decorative silver vinaigrette with all over decoration. The decoration on the top is an intricate Acanthus pattern of typical scrolls which centres around a small ribbon shaped cartouche which is unengraved. The back is also engraved with the same Acanthus pattern and the sides are much plainer but still, unusually, have a pattern. There is a hoop and ring on one end of this vinaigrette which is original and is not an addition
