Golden Sunset, DucklingtonA painting I made on the outskirts of Ducklington, in Oxfordshire, when the light fell golden upon the Cotswolds landscape. The browns of the late autumn hedges became a coppery red during my time painting the scene en plein air. Unframed size 20 cm (H) x 30 cm (W) x 1 cm (D) (approx 8 x 12 inches). and I found that it made a very pretty scene

and they are a quintessential part of the Cotswolds in April and May
