George J. Sowden Vase 2Vases Collection The first collaboration with Sowden dates back to the early 1980s, to the Memphis period. In 2004, he proposed a new project to Bitossi consisting of four vase shapes. Each vase is made up of turned white clay elements, which are then assembled: the round disc base, the central body and the upper part, decorated with an abstract design consisting of waves and coloured sections.
