1970's Aria Diamond Japan Violin/Beatle Hollowbody Bass (Sunburst)Japanese made by the Matsumoku factory in the early 1970's to replicate the famous Hofner bass. The VB 300 from Aria's "Diamond" series features a hollowbody violin style construction bolted to a maple neck with a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (30" scale length) and weighs 2. 7kg's. Loaded with humbucker style pickups controlled by master volume tone controls and a three way selector, it appears to be all original and working well. The neck is straight

The previous owner loaded with with a pair of active EMG's (original pickups not included) controlled by a pair of volume/tone knobs and a three-way pickup selector

A very geometric compact body with a contoured leg cutout for comfortable seated playing

appears to be a Japanese build and is loaded with a pair of Japanese GOTOH humbuckers

loaded with a Fender USA Lace Sensor pickup along with a Piezo Sensor Saddle so you can blend between acoustic and electric sounds seamlessly

There's a small crack near the neck pocket as pictured that's been checked over and isn't a structural issue and has no impact on playability or tuning

The frets are perfect after the aforementioned refret and there's a brand new bone nut installed
