Pentecost BrocadeWatts' 'Pentecost' fabric was designed by David Gazeley, who took inspiration from G. F. Bodley's embroidery design for a set of vestments at St Paul's Knightsbridge, London. Reference can also be made to the medieval robes of the French Order of Knights of the Holy Spirit. The repeating motif which makes up the pattern has been appropriately named as it draws from the account of the descent of the Holy Spirit in the forms of tongues of fire at

The stole measures 50

For the gold plate and brass option the pole is in a light wood and for silver plate the pole is ebonized mahogany unless requested otherwise

and has since been used in a cope worn by the Archbishop of Canterbury for the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales
