Boxed Christening Set Atkin Brothers Sheffield 1900A lovely and unusual Christening set comprising of a knife, spoon and fork. This is a great set by a good maker silversmith. The spoon and fork have matching handles with conjoined circles, they are also curved and very tactile, the knife has a silver blade and bone handle. Handmade in sterling silver this has either a slide action opener or a twist action opener which are easy to use and allow for safe and compact storage of the stirrers

Hallmarked to the side of the lid this was made by one of the most renowned silversmiths of the period who were known and respected for the quality of their pieces

This stamp box is in super condition there is one very small dent to the centre of the base - see pictures - with no other damage

There is a very small amount of tarnishing around the handle joint and minor signs of use inside the snuffer part but this to be expected and is commensurate with age and light use

There is one tiny pin prick dent on the side
