Lem Lem green chalk paintA soft, warm green, inspired by fields of alliums that Annie saw in Ethiopia, grown by women farmers who are supported by Oxfams Ethiopian Seed Project. This pastel is great for creating a retro 50's look, and works well as part of a vintage floral style.

You can also mix Pearlescent Glaze with very small additions of Chalk Paint® to create gently shimmering

Use the leaf with hands lightly dusted with talcum powder and stick the leaf on to a surface coated with Annie Sloan Gold Size

it becomes a beautiful black like dark slate

A beautiful neutral colour which works well with warm and cool tones

with a hint of blue

as well as the rich pigment indigo blue so synonymous with traditional Indian block printing

It’s also makes a great backdrop to cool blues

as well as looking brilliant with earthy yellows and reds – try teaming it with Primer Red

Gorgeous when used on its on or try applying underneath pale neutrals like Old Ochre or Old White
