The base wine is spiced using China Calissaja barks, gentian, rhubarb roots & valuable cardamon seeds. This makes a great after dinner digestif and a great cocktail ingredient in place of sweet vermouth. The history of this beverage is enrooted in the Ancient Greek and Roman world, in which aromatized wines were already of common use
