It has a shaped central cartouche which is engraved with the initials H C in period and in keeping with the design and style of the snuff box

This is a great photograph frame as it is Oval in shape which is unusual to find

The card case shuts with a slight gap both at the front and back but this is not detrimental to the overall appearance of the card case - see pictures

The pull off lid reveals a gilt interior
