The blue enamel is incredible bright and striking making this a lovely item for use or display. Hallmarked to the side of the lid this was made by one of the most renowned silversmiths of the period who were known and respected for the quality of their pieces. The lid comes complete with a Marmite Jar in the chosen size

There are import hallmarks on the side of the lid and the rim of the base
It has clear feature hallmarks around the edge
The compact closes snugly with a click and the hinge is good
It may benefit from a light polish / clean
