The cover is engraved vertically with a view of the Scott Memorial in Edinburgh. Inside is a highly decorated grille, a sponge and a gilded interior. A lovely collectable silver vinaigrette. This comes in its good quality cardboard gift box similar to the one pictured

The vesta closes well - although there isn't a snap - and the hinge is good
