One or two estates managed to pick the grapes before the rain but most did not. Chateau Leoville Barton generally has a good track record in the lesser vintages. Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 75cl bottle. Abv% Not stated. Bottle condition, capsule good, label bin soiled, wine level mid high shoulder.

and again with that charcoal grill/meaty note
with this being pre 1945 when they started changing the label each year
still really quite dark considering its age
