The vineyard was first planted in 1978 and subsequently purchased by mining heir Michael Wright in 1991. It is part of what James Halliday refers to as the 'golden triangle' of Margaret River encompassing Voyager Estate, Leeuwin Estate and Cape Mentelle. When did you realise you wanted to become a winemaker
