Uncle Vals Restorative 750mlUncle Val brand owner August Sebastiani's family were originally from Italy, but moved to California and into the wine business and subsequently into the gin world! As well as the usual juniper (naturally) and lemon, Uncle Val's Restorative Gin also contains lavender and sage, two herbs that remind Sebastiani of his uncle's garden in Tuscany.
A blend of 8 to 12 year old rums then solera aged for another year in used whisky and bourbon barrels
the finish is laced with delicately smooth tannins that give the wine a silky texture
Slow roasted in brick ovens for 72 hours
And A Touch Of Soda
The liquid is then ground in an Egyptian stone mill
The mouth is complex
with the aromas of aged malt whisky combined with a mix of floral and herbal overtones and rich honey
and floral and fruity notes of cantaloup and peaches
