2016 Cloudy Bay Te Wahi Pinot Noir 750mlPinot Noir made from fruit coming from selected vineyards at Northburn and Calvert vineyards in Central Otago. Since there is no winery there, the fruit picked early in the morning is carried to the winery in Marlborough with refrigerated trucks. Garnet in colour fading to brick tones. Shows more dried fruit character than fresh berry notes with medlar, iodine and forest floor aromas joined on the palate by strawberry marmelade and rosehip flavours.

Produced from 100% estate grown cabernet sauvignon (95%) and cabernet franc (5%)

and oak mingle harmoniously on the palate

To blend this special batch Francis Abécassis and Frédéric David the Cellar Master

is sourced from the 'best of the best' Shiraz vineyards of the Barossa
