Scottish Silver Wine Label / Decanter Label Edinburgh 1829 - 1831A lovely quality Scottish silver decanter label decorated with a scroll and shell pattern. This has "Sherry" engraved in the centre of the label. A lovely piece of collectable Scottish silver. Partial hallmarks to the back with no date letter although this was fairly common on Scottish silver and silver from this era. This can however be dated based on the maker sponsor's mark. This is a gorgeous pair of Corinthian Column Silver Candlesticks

The hallmarks are rubbed but the date mark is legible

These candlesticks are well detailed with fluting up the stems emphasising their shape

These candlesticks are incredibly well detailed with leaf detail around the top

An unusually large silver pill pot

The box is original and in good condition except for the top where the surface has been damaged - see pictures

also with the highest provenance of being previously owned by a member of Scots' Clan Douglas

The blade opens and closes well

the lower cartouche is an overstretched sail of a toy sailing boat
