1985 Tokai Japan M-2002 MAT Graph-Tech Superstrat (Carbon Fibre)Part of Tokai's MAT series of guitars built with their "new Graphtech" material (a hybrid of carbon fiber and glass fiber), these were introduced in 1985 and marketed with a very high price tag to "perfectly meet the needs of professionals". Graphtech body and neck with an ebony fingerboard (22 frets and a 15. 75" radius), it weighs 3. 4kg's. Loaded with a pair of active EMG 81 pickups controlled by a three way selector and master volume tone

Restrung and given a basic setup and service prior to listing

The first is a panning chorus effect that emulates multiple guitars and the second is a vibrato style effect

Made in small batches within the ESP Tokyo workshop
