Perfumed scents of violets, red cherries and winter strawberries sail out of the glass complexed by hints of sour cherries, light anise, fresh herbs, stalky cedar and spice. Lightly weighted the palate is lit up with freshness featuring a mixture of sour to red cherry and winter strawberry fruits which are underpinned by stalky cedar, infusions of fresh herbs and spice. the wine is matured in new (50%) and seasoned French oak barriques for around 24 months

The 2021 growing season began with another dry start to winter followed by a welcome wet spring which set the vines well for summer

with hints of jasmine and fresh herbs

fermented with wild yeast and aged in large French oak barrels
