My Soul Sings

My Soul SingsMy Soul Sings" is an original acrylic painting that is inspired by my recent trip this last summer to Rock Lake Provincial Park just outside of Hinton, in Alberta. I spent an afternoon right on this ledge doing plein air painting of this location, and loved working from my images in the summer. When I stepped out of the trail to see this vista, my soul felt so full and encouraged. It is my wish that you will feel uplifted too when you look at this

"Going Home" is an original acrylic and mixed media painting of Aspelund Road near Sylvan Lake

The title stems from my love of the huge blue skies of the prairies

with a crisp glass of sparkling rose in my hand

"She is Full of Sunshine" is an abstract original mixed-media painting that is much like a bouquet of flowers

This painting is inspired by a woman in my life who lights up a room when she walks in

made entirely out of sunlight

Driving through Central Alberta and passing fields upon fields is an image that I cherish and love to share with you

Although the summer season is over now

and feels festive even though it's not close to Christmas yet
