Down to the Coast, Boscastle, CornwallI painted this on location at Boscastle in Cornwall. I wanted to capture the mood of a summer day with the characteristic bright blues of the sea and the plethora of wildflowers along the path. I loved the composition of the old wall leading down to the sea, and the colour harmony of the bright blues and greens against the greys of the slate wall and rocks.
