Love On The IceTwo King penguins stand closely in the remote sub Antarctic Island of South Georgia. This was a very special shot Mark captured as was actually selected as a favourite by the whole ships expedition team for a wedding gift of our Expedition Leader at the time who got married in a tiny church on South Georgia. I don't like to anthropomorphise animals but this one can't help to think about romance and in fact King penguins do create very unique bonds and

the unmistakable sound of blows
