Double Compartment Edwardian Silver Vesta Birmingham 1908An Edwardian silver vesta of larger than normal size with twin compartments. This vesta is slightly concave on the reverse and is beautifully decorated with Ivy leaves around a central shield shaped unengraved cartouche. Ivy leaves commonly represent enduring love and it is highly likely this lovely silver vesta would have been given to someone special as a symbol of love or a strong friendship on a special occasion.
