There is a cork stopper in the lid which seals the two pieces. It is really unusual to find a scent bottle in this green colour as opposed to the usual blue or cranberry glass. The wooden base shows very little signs of use and still has a varnished appearance

The hallmarks are rubbed but still easily legible

Silver Weight:  40g

The Wreath is cast well and has good detail

The decoration is really crisp and still sharp with minimal wear

Made by a renowned Silversmith of the era the quality of this piece of silver is evident in both the design and quality of this dish

The curve is slightly flattened in the base through age and use

The box shows some minor signs of use

Fully hallmarked with import marks to the backs of the necks although these are very small and difficult to read
