Made with 100% pure new wool tartan fabric, the Paisley Ancient is an energetic tartan with shades of blue, green and red. A town in Scotland situated in west central Lowlands of Scotland, this tartan was designed by Allan C. Drennan in 1952. It won a first prize at Kelso Highland Show as the Paisley district tartan. The designer worked for Anchor Mills in Paisley.
The Duke was also Earl of Inverness and the tartan was named in honour of his Scottish title
