January TreeThe idea for this print started on the night of Storm Goretti, in January this year There had been numerous yellow warnings, then amber warnings, then snow and high wind warnings and I was all hunkered down at home waiting for it to arrive. I have two lovely 50 year old Silver Birches just six feet from my house and the thought always goes through my mind that this could be their last night. So I was watching through the window and it started to snow,

Every year the University Botanic Gardens has an Open Day and Plant Sale… the gardens have developed around four rather grand Arts & Crafts houses with sweeping lawns
