Pugin CopeOur Pugin Gothic range is made in our exclusive Alton fabric, based on a design by Augustus Pugin. This fabric came to us from a Pugin vestment from St Augustine's Abbey, Ramsgate, and this range is complimented by a re weaving of an original Pugin orphrey braid. This design reflects Pugin's 14th and 15th century influences both in England and the Low Countries. Our Pugin copes are based on a vestment by Pugin for St Augustine's Abbey, Ramsgate, and
with lappets finished with Blue/Gold Diamond and Lay fringe
and cord and is lined in red silk taffeta
this is a 'one-off' sample piece
The cope is trimmed with a gold rayon cope tassel
A Borromean chasuble in Watts exclusive Green 'Shrewsbury' silk damask
