1987 Fender Japan ST57 "E Series" '57 Reissue Vintage Stratocaster (Aged White)Made by the Fujigen factory in the late 1980's as part of the famed Fender "E Series", this ST57 model was the base model '57 reissue from Fender Japan. Basswood body with a maple neck shaped with the classic '57 slim C neck profile (7. 25" radius, 43mm nut, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3. 5kg's. Seems all original with a factory 5 way switch, Japanese ST VINTAGE single coils, a die cast bridge, vintage style tuners and Fender stamped saddles. Good

Good vintage condition as pictured with plenty of signs of wear and tear

all with a healthy dose of volume available to push your amp

Semi-Hollow Body

frets have some light wear but play well with plenty of life left

These share both a topography and a PCB layout with the Maxon/Ibanez FL-9 of the 1980's

Maple and Mahogany Body

Chinese made in 2007 (an exclusively Epiphone factory that's considered a notch above most)

Loaded with some aftermarket electronics including Wilkinson single coils controlled by a five-way toggle and some aftermarket saddles to accompany the original Greco branded tuners

Has one very notable ding on the body as pictured that's really only cosmetic with no noticeable impact when you're playing it
