This painting was made in the same setting as my earlier view of St Margarets Church, but this time I was able to work alongside the group. I focused on the church lychgate, a small but very evocative structure

where the Matterhorn is called the Cervino

it depicts a glamorous lady with her skis somewhere in the Italian Alps

I love experimenting doing the same image over and over again
