Residential Piano TuningA piano has more than two hundred strings, each of which must be individually tuned to a particular pitch. Each pitch must, in turn, relate to the pitch of the other strings so that a regular series of tonal intervals is produced across the entire range of notes, from the lowest bass to the highest treble.
