Psalmopoeus reduncus 1/2”size 1 2 In my experience this is one the smaller Psalmopoeus species with adults reaching about 5 inches in leg span. This is the only described arboreal species from Costa Rica, which is strange considering how many species come from such a small country like Costa Rica. First described in 1880 as Tapinauchenius reduncus by Ferdinand Anton Franz Karsch of Berlin.
