Didiers son Arnaud has joined him, becoming the seventh generation, and the long term future is now secure. Their vines average age is over 30 years and the dramatically sloping vineyards, which are of chalk and Kimmeridgian limestone, are planted mainly to Pinot Noir and just a little Chardonnay.
