Sentiero 8, Morgex – Dora BalteaThis oil painting captures a beloved moment along Sentiero 8, a woodland path that runs beside the Dora Baltea river in Morgex, in the Aosta Valley. At the heart of the scene, a man in red (my husband) and our black Labrador enjoy one of our cherished walks together. I was drawn to the way the bright light filters through the trees, creating shimmering highlights in the background and dappled shadows across the path. Its a piece filled with warmth,
