Vintage 1960s Teak Bookcase Retro Shelving Adjustable Mid Century EB11974A vintage 1960s small teak bookcase. This has a nice quality to it with a lovely teak veneer all over it and exposed mitre joints on a solid teak front edge. This is a lovely compact size perfect for smaller rooms and has two height adjustable shelves for maximum flexibility. It has a nice white backing which contrasts the honey toned teak well, and sits on turned wooden legs. Good vintage condition. This is very clean overall but does have a few

first you pull the handle slightly towards you and then you slide the door behind the other one diagonally as they are both connected on a central pivoting spring

it does have a slight smoke smell to it

This does have some cosmetic wear on the edges and a very different tone in the extension leaf but is a charming little thing that adds a nice retro pop

top and side surfaces have had a re-finish and look very nice but there are a few minor veneer chips on the top edge

Overall its a structurally sound sofa with some age related cosmetic marks to the fabric but no rips or tears

a couple small spot stains

This has been freshly re-upholstered in a lovely thick knit terracotta red fabric and really stands out
