This upgrade is for 50amp Electric Range Buddy

In this configuration each meter reads the 240volt circuit by monitoring current on Phase 1 only (black wire) which is all that is needed in a 240volt circuit

by default it’s the dryer outlet (14-30 on the left) with a flip of the illuminated rocker switch power is toggled to the EVSE outlet only

The yellow cable in the pics are of the first generation 10/3 cable we used

Please note this cord is rated for 30 amps (24 amps continuous load) which is less than the rated amperage of the 14-50 outlet

it will fit into a 3-prong 10-30 outlet which is the older dryer outlet allowing you to take it on the road and plug into a friends dryer outlet
